Ridge gets up when he sees Nick with RJ. “What’s going on here?” he says. Massimo approaches Ridge and takes his arm. “We have to talk son. Please sit down.” Ridge watches as Brooke approaches Nick and RJ. She looks at Nick and softly thanks him and reaches over to kiss RJ who is falling asleep on Nick’s shoulder. She squeezes Nick’s arm and goes to sit next to Ridge. She takes Ridge’s hand and tells him that Mass is right. There is something she has to tell him. Deacon and Nick move in closer keeping their eyes on Ridge. Massimo sits across from him. Brooke tells Ridge that Deacon ran a second paternity test once he found out that the first one was corrupt. Deacon jumps in and explains his feelings at the time, his confusion over Hope’s adoption. When he found out the results of the second test, he lied about them to Jackie. He looks at Ridge and says, “The second test proved that Nick was indeed the father of Brooke’s baby.” Ridge jumps up and says in disbelief, “How can that be? The test at the hospital….” Brooke stands up and touches Ridge’s arm trying to calm him. She tells him that it couldn’t have been a real test. She picks up the brochures on DNA testing and hands them to Ridge explaining that her therapists suspected a false test and left the pamphlets for her to figure it out for herself. She tells Ridge that Deacon confirmed her suspicions that very morning. Ridge looks at them all in disbelief…then comprehension begins to show on his face. “I don’t believe it! He’s my son Brooke…our son!” Nick looks at Ridge and says “My son, Forrester.” Ridge looks at Brooke and realizes she believes Deacon. He says that if all of this is true, someone must have paid off the doctor. Deacon says yes. He says, “Your father…your other father, Eric.” Ridge looks at Deacon in disbelief. He asks huskily “Why… Why?” Deacon tells Ridge that he needs to ask Eric that himself. He can only speak to his own motivation. Ridge sits down heavily on the couch and puts his face into his hands. After a few moments, Brooke moves to him and touches his shoulder. “Ridge…” she says. Ridge jumps up, a look of devastation on his face. “ I don’t care who the baby’s biological father is, Brooke. He’s our baby. We are married. I love you! We can raise him as our own.” “You’re forgetting one thing, brother…” Nick says, “I happen to want to be my son’s father.” Ridge takes a step toward Nick as Nick goes to lay the baby in the portacrib he set up for Brooke that morning. Ridge turns to Brooke and says “And what about you, darling wife. What is it you want?” He says nastily. Brooke looks at Ridge and tells him she is still trying to figure that out. Ridge grabs her arm and tries to drag he toward the door. “We’ll figure this out NOW!” Ridge says angrily. Deacon and Nick move in on Ridge and Nick tells him to let go of Brooke’s arm. Ridge tells Nick to “make him.” Massimo grabs Ridge’s arm and tells him that this is not the place or time. Ridge calms slightly and tells Massimo that he agrees. He looks at Brooke and tells her he’ll be back…for her and his son! Massimo looks at Nick who tells him to go with Ridge…he needs him now. Massimo leaves with Ridge. Deacon lets out a big breath as the door closes. Nick turns in time to grab Brooke as she begins to slump to the floor. He picks her up in his arms and says tenderly that she has had enough excitement for one day. It’s bedtime. He looks at Deacon who says he’ll watch the kids while Nick helps Brooke. Nick suggest that Deacon call the Nanny service that Katherine works for and get someone out there to help Brooke as soon as possible. Nick turns and carries an exhausted sleepy Brooke upstairs. They enter her bedroom and she looks around. “Nice,” she says lying back and closing her eyes. Nick walks to her dresser and pulls out a nighty after ruffling thru the drawer. He looks at Brooke who has her eyes closed and approaches the bed. He comments that he didn’t find anything flannel. “Flannel?” Brooke says, “God forbid.” Nick helps Brooke sit up but she can barely hold her head up. He helps her undress telling himself that he is just helping her. He tries not to look at her as he slips the nighty over her head but he can’t help but think how truly beautiful she is. Once in the nighty, she lies down and he covers her with the comforter. He bends down and kisses her forehead then touches his lips to hers softly. Suddenly, Brooke reaches up and grabs Nick’s shirtfront in a surprisingly strong grip. She deepens the kiss and the two share a tender, passionate and long kiss. She lies back with her eyes closed and softly says, “ I am so glad you are the father.”<br>Nick bends down again and says, “So am I.” He kisses her once more and they share a second passionate kiss. Brooke is smiling as she whispers, “g’night.” Nick stands back and watches Brooke sleeping. Suddenly he feels inexplicably lighthearted. He leaves her to sleep and fairly floats down the stairs only to stop short when he find Felicia there speaking with Deacon.

grrrrrrrrrrr Felicia.... I hope Nick tells her it's over, but for some reason I don't think Felicia will let go of Nick easily. We know she is jealous of Brooke and Nick's relationship. I also don't see Ridge going down without a fight. So I see a long uphill battle for Nick and Brooke being together.

Love it Love it It sure was no surprise that Ridge acted like a jerk and I have to wonder if Felicia is going to follow in his footsteps...........I loved the tender moment between Nick and Brooke, when he helped her to bed.................And the best was when Brooke told him she was glad he was the baby's father Your storyline has worked so well, that I think TPTB should try it

Deacon and Felicia are standing in the foyer of Brooke’s home, heads together, deep in conversation. Nick pauses and watches them for a moment, noting how closely they are standing and how intent they both seem to be. Nick has a fleeting thought that he should be jealous but realizes he isn’t in the least. Deacon has just finished telling Felicia of the day’s events explaining that Nick is helping Brooke settle in for the night. Felicia’s eyes flash as she fairly accurately pictures Nick helping Brooke to bed. Nick clears his throat and both turn to him. Felicia quickly steps toward Nick as he asks he what brought her to Brooke’s as he didn’t think they were exactly friends. Felicia explains that she stopped over to Ridge’s and got an earful from Katherine. She moves to put her arms around Nick and says that she was worried that Ridge might go ballistic. Nick, suddenly uncomfortable with Felicia’s show of affection, gently releases himself from her hold. He says sarcastically, “And what? You came rushing over to save me? I think I can handle Ridge.” He walks over to RJ sleeping in the porta-crib and bends over him making sure he is covered. He gently touches the baby’s cheek. Felicia joins him at the crib and says softly that he shouldn’t underestimate Ridge when he is angry or threatened. “Maybe,” Nick says straightening, “Ridge shouldn’t underestimate me.” He walks away from Felicia who is left staring at the baby in the crib. Several emotions run over her face, from envy to fear to anger thinking that this baby could be Nick’s. She turns to Deacon and asks which one of them knows how to take care of an infant. Deacon smiles and says that someone from the nanny service will be here first thing tomorrow morning. “In the meantime…” Deacon starts… “I’ll be staying here with Brooke and the children tonight,” Nick finishes. “You!” Felicia says. “You know nothing about taking care of RJ.” Nick looks at Felicia and tells her that again she underestimates him. He read a lot of books when he thought he was the father. He hasn’t forgotten. He’ll be fine dealing with Dominic junior. Felicia says that reading about a baby and taking care of one… “Did you say Dominic junior? Do you know for certain…?” Deacon looks at her and tells her they are 99.9% sure the baby is Nick’s and they’ll know beyond a shadow of doubt within a day or two. Felicia looks defeated for a moment but rallies quickly to tell Nick that she’d be happy to stay and help him tonight. Nick looks away from Felicia for a moment then turns to her and says, “Please understand that right now, tonight, I need to be here with my son, the daughter I was going to adopt and the woman I was going to marry. Alone. Brooke and I have a lot to work through and we need to do this without outside interference.” “Interference,” Felicia says. “I thought you cared for me and you know I care for you. You think that’s interference?” Deacon steps in and touches Felicia’s arm. He tells her it’s been a long day for everyone and the last thing they all need right now is an emotion charged discussion. Felicia looks perturbed but finally agrees. Deacon tells Nick that he’ll see Felicia home if he’ll put Hope to bed. Nick thanks him and walks up to Felicia. He hugs her and kisses her forehead. Felicia looks at him and asks if that’s all she gets. Nick looks into her eyes and tells her it’s all he has to give her right now. He’s sorry. She looks away before Nick can see the tears in her eyes. Deacon kisses Hope and tells her goodnight. He helps Felicia into her coat and they walk to the door. She turns from the door as they are leaving and sees Brooke coming softly down the stairs, looking fragile and beautiful, calling to Nick. Felicia catches sight of Nick’s face as he is staring at Brooke, obviously forgetting Felicia. She knows now that she has lost Nick for good. The door closes behind Deacon and Felicia and Nick asks Brooke huskily what she is doing out of bed. Brooke says she heard voices and realized that she needed to feed RJ and put Hope to bed. Nick tells her she should not be up. She looks like a stiff breeze could knock her over. Brooke smiles and says that she is tougher than she looks. RJ stirs and Brooke goes over to pick him up. “Shhhh, shhhh, shhhh,” She coos. Nick comes over to her and touches first the baby’s cheek then hers. Just then hope tugs on his shirt-tail and he laughs down at her. “Come on, sweet pea! Time for bed,” he says. He looks at Brooke and tells her he’ll be back in a few and she should sit down before she falls down. Brooke watches him with warmth in her gaze as he and hope head up the stairs. She sits and cuddles the baby while Nick puts Hope to bed. He shares a tender moment with Hope who says she’s glad they are all together again. Nick comes back downstairs to find Brooke Snuggled with the baby on the couch. He sits next to her and she hands him the baby. The three of them are all very close on the couch, talking softly to the baby. Suddenly the baby smiles directly at Nick. Nick looks at Brooke, “Did you see that? He smiled at me!” Brooke laughs gently and says that he must know his daddy. She reaches over intending to kiss Nick’s cheek but he turns his head and their lips meet instead. Both are startled and pull back for a moment before they lean back in and share a deep, tender kiss. “You should be in bed,” Nick says huskily. Brooke opens her mouth to say something and Nick continues, “Alone…for now at least.” He smiles at Brooke who smiles back. “Let’s move this little guy up to the crib in your room and I’ll camp out on the couch.” Brooke tells him there is no need for that. There is a perfectly good room next to hers. It makes sense in case they need something in the night, he’ll be close enough to hear. They proceed upstairs, putting RJ in his crib. He snuggles in and falls fast asleep. Brooke stands awkwardly by the bed and Nick turns to the door. He stops in the threshold and looks back at Brooke. “Goodnight gorgeous!” He says as he walks from the room…..

Thank you so much! I love this family. At least we have it here. Gold, that is what Bell let slip away for a stale old nasty Bridge. More please. And thank you for having Nick be kind to Felicia, but not give her false hope and for Felicia to see the truth with her own eyes. Maybe Deacon can make her smile again.

I am sorry for Felicia, but I love that Nick told her the truth and that he did not give her any false hope. And maybe this could be the start of something between Felicia and Deacon..... I love that you only have to watch Nicks face and expression and you see his love for Brooke is undeniable Nick so deserves this baby to be his I would give anything to be there and watch Nick take care of his son, it would warm my heart ;D And my favorite moment was hearing Nick call Brooke "gorgeous" again, it brought back favorite memories and a smile to my face

Deacon walks Felicia to her door after driving her home. She has been very quiet, looking out the window the entire ride. They stop at her front door and Deacon takes her chin and turns her head to him. Felicia looks at Deacon and says, “What is it that men see in Brooke? My brothers, my Dad, Nick… YOU!” Deacon is quiet for a moment and says, “Brooke is strong, yet vulnerable. Beautiful, with a loving heart. An irresistible combination. She captures a mans attention, feeds his ego. His fall is inevitable.” “I want that,” Felicia says desperately. Deacon says, “No you don’t. First of all you don’t need it. You are a beautiful, strong, confident woman. And if you think Brooke has had it easy then you are mistaken. She has had a tough time finding real love.” “And you think she may be finding that with Nick…” Felicia says tartly. “How nice since she is married to my brother.” Deacon looks hard at her and says, “A marriage that your own mother was hugely responsible for.” Felicia asks, “How do you figure that?” Deacon explains that she pushed Brooke to Ridge by telling her she wasn’t good enough for him. Brooke would have done about anything in the end to prove Stephanie wrong. Felicia is quiet for a moment and then agrees with Deacon saying she knows exactly what that is like. It was the same for her all these years. She looks at Deacon and asks, “Do you still love her? Brooke, I mean.” Deacon says, “No. I care about her as the mother of my daughter but what I felt for Brooke romantically is long gone. Heck, I almost destroyed her. I am amazed that she even talks to me but she’s changed some since the accident. Accepts her mistakes and wants to fix them.” “You think she belongs with Nick, don’t you?” Felicia asks bitterly. “Yes. She was happy with him before Ridge butted in. She’s different with Nick. She laughs…she’s happy. “ Felicia turns away but Deacon turns her back to him. He touches her cheek and tells her that nick isn’t right for her. He’ll always be in love with Brooke; always need her. He pulls Felicia closer and tells her that she needs a man who can appreciate a strong, independent, sexy woman. “Someone like you, I suppose?” Felicia says sarcastically. Deacon pulls her into a kiss saying, “Yeah, not someone like me…ME!” and he kisses her deeply. After a while Felicia pushes him back surprised that she reacted with such fervor. “I have to go,” she stammers. “Dinner with me tomorrow?” Deacon asks. “Maybe,” Felicia says and walks inside closing the door behind her.

Newestconvert, I love the tender moments of BRICKY, I love it when Nick said " Gorgeous" to Brooke again, it just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I love this family, so much love and harmony, that Brooke has peace. With Ridge it is always so turbulent, with the Ridge's rantings and Brooke running to pacify and stroke his ego. I also love it that Felicia and Deacon may get together. These two chapters are great, more please.

Brooke is downstairs in the kitchen turning bacon and chatting to Hope and RJ who is in a baby seat when a sleepy shirtless Nick walks into the kitchen. Nick asks her what she is doing up. He should be making breakfast for her. She is still recovering. Brooke says, “I feel great!” and turns from turning the bacon. She catches sight of Nick and stands staring at him, struck by the desire to wrap her arms around his bare chest. Brooke clears her throat, still staring and stammers, “Er, um, how do you like…(gulp) your, er, eggs?” Nick misunderstands her confusion and thinks she is still tired. He walks up to her and grabs her by the arms. “You are doing too much. Your face is flushed.” Brooke swallows and says with a smile, “Well, what do you expect when you come into the kitchen half naked.” She places her palm against his chest and catches her breath. Nick finally catches on and grabs her wrist…”Hmmmm,” he says as he raises the inside of her wrist to his lips. “Rapid pulse…” He lowers his head to hers for a kiss and with his lips only a whisper away asks, “Any lightheadedness?” “Somewhat,” Brooke says breathlessly. Nick chuckles and touches his lips to hers. What starts as a playful kiss quickly becomes passionate. They break apart when RJ makes a loud screech and both are breathing heavily unable to look at one another. Nick settles RJ and tells Brooke that her bacon is burning. She turns and removes the bacon to a plate. “Eggs?” she asks trying to bring the atmosphere back to normal. Nick tells her he likes them over easy and smiles sexily at Brooke. She blushes and turns back to the stove. Nick walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her from behind. He says softly into her ear, “This feels soooo right! I want to move in with you and the kids. Just to be here with you all. Nothing has to happen between us…until you are ready…if ever…but I want to be here with my family.” Brooke leans back into Nick for a moment then turns in his arms. “I think the children would enjoy having you here,” Brooke says. Still holding Brooke, Nick asks, “Only the children?” Brooke smiles slyly and says that she could use some help with them as well. Nick laughs and kisses her soundly. Brooke touches his cheek before turning back to the stove. “You can move in this afternoon, if you’d like,” she says. “I’d like…” Nick replies. Both are smiling as Brooke breaks eggs into the frying pan and Nick goes to the table to play with the children….

I am running out of ways to say: for your story! I am enjoying it so much. I would have never stopped watching in June if we would have gotten to see something like this unfold ... ... it is just too bad that, instead, ol' Bradley was DUPED into ruining Brooke to prop up the perverted Ridge in order to present another hideously unbelievable, non-sensical, and BORING bRidge Redux #666 ... As if the idiotic about-face that resulted in the bungle in the jungle wasn't bad enough!

After breakfast Nick runs upstairs to finish dressing. When he comes downstairs, Brooke is in the living room with the kids. She looks up to find Nick finishing the buttons on his shirt. He approaches Brooke and takes her by the arms. “ I have to go to work. I’ll be back this afternoon with my things if you’re sure this is what you want.” Brooke looks at him and smiles, “It’s what we all want.” Nick tells her to get some rest as he walks to the door. He swings back and gives her a quick, hard kiss on the lips. “See ya later, gorgeous.” And he walks out the door. The doorbell rings shortly after Nick has left and Brooke finds the new nanny at the door. She invites her in and shows her around, introducing her to the children. The nanny asks Brooke about her hours…no one was quite sure if she needed a live in nanny. Brooke tells the nanny, Jenny, that she doesn’t require someone over night…she has help now. Later in the late afternoon, Jenny asks Brooke if she’d like her to take the children for a walk for a bit and give her some time alone. Brooke thinks that is a super idea and she settles into the couch after Jenny has left with the children. She is tired after her late night and she drifts into a light sleep. There she dreams of Ridge voting her out of her presidency at Forrester Creations…of Stephanie gloating. She flashes forward to telling Ridge that Nick might be the baby’s father…she sees him walk away from her in the dream…then she flashes forward to Ridge being unable to make love to her because Nick might be the father… she sees herself bonding with Nick over the baby’s crib and then making tender love to him. She wakes up suddenly as the doorbell rings again. She groggily gets up to answer the door, still swept up in the emotions from the dreams. She opens the door and it is Ridge. He pushes past her and says, “Logan, we have to talk.” Brooke pushes the hair from her eyes and says that yes, indeed they do. Ridge tells her he doesn’t like what is happening to them, what happened last night. He tells her he stopped off at the lab and gave his DNA samples because he wants this settled so that they can get on with their lives and so that he can bring his son and wife home. Brooke looks away from Ridge for a moment and then asks him to sit down. They sit side by side on the couch and Brooke tells Ridge that no matter what the tests say, she is not going home with him. Ridge is unbelieving for a moment and then angry. “We are married Logan, we belong together!” Brooke shakes her head and explains, “There was a time and a place for us Ridge. I have no doubt that I once was deeply in love with you. Since the accident I have realized that maybe this last time we got married it was for the wrong reasons. I think we got to the point where we were determined to get married because everyone told us we were wrong for each other. Ridge,” she looks him in the eye, “I am not in love with you anymore.” Ridge jumps up and starts to pace. Brooke grabs his arm and tells him that he will always be special to her, that she will always love him …but as a friend. Just then, the door opens and Nick arrives with his suitcase. Ridge catches sight of the suitcase in Nick’s hand and charges him… calling him a bastard. Brooke calls out for Ridge to stop and suddenly grasps her head in pain and falls to her knees. Nick sees Brooke fall and dodges Ridge to rush to her side going down on his knees beside her. Ridge also rushes to Brooke’s side. Brooke raises her head and with tears in her eyes begs Ridge not to fight with Nick. This is her decision, these are all her decisions and the fighting with Nick has to stop. Ridge asks her softly if she is ok. Brooke says yes and Ridge helps her to her feet. Nick gets to his as well keeping a wary eye on Ridge and a watchful eye on Brooke. Ridge steps away from Brooke and Nick and walks to the door. He turns at the door and tells Brooke that he loves her…he always will. He says he’ll talk to her when they get the DNA results back. He looks at Nick and says, “Until then, brother, stay the hell out of my way. “ He leaves slamming the door. Nick pulls Brooke into his arms and with his lips against her forehead asks her if she is really ok. She says yes…that she felt a sudden sharp pain but it’s gone now. Nick makes her sit down and asks her what happened. Brooke has Nick sit next to her as she relays her conversation with Ridge. “Do you mean it Brooke?” Nick asks. “Are you sure you aren’t in love with Ridge anymore? This has been a lifelong dream of yours.” Brooke takes Nick’s hand in hers and tells him that she is sure. She explains that a part of her must have been figuring this out before the accident but she is sure that what she feels for Ridge now is not in the least lover-like. Nick sighs as if in relief…”So, you up for pizza for dinner?” Brooke laughs…”Hold the anchovies and mushrooms!” Nick pulls her into his arms and moves in for a kiss.. “What, pray tell, do you have against anchovies?” He kisses her passionately. He lifts his head and Brooke says breathlessly, “Never mind, let’s not hold anything back…I’ll take the works.” She pulls Nick back into another passionate kiss. They are interrupted by Jenny returning with the children….

Newest convert, You do know how to tell a story! I absolutely love it. I am so glad that Brooke finally sees the light and that she is not in love with Ridge. I wish she is more forceful and mean when she dumped him, because of all the things he put her through but I know that it is just not in Brooke's nature to be mean. Oh well, at least she dumped the JERK.
