Allie's Office
Allie looked at her cousin. What a haughty, nasty, spoiled, ungrateful creature she was. And she was so damn transparent, with her trench-coat and probably nothing on underneath. She probably was wearing something from Brooke's line to seduce Bill Spencer with. Typical Steffy, sneer about Brooke being sleazy, but using something from her line. Allie had listened when Bill told her about her cousin swiping a ring and stalking him.
Too bad I can't tell her what Bill REALLY thinks of her, and too bad I can't tell her about her tramp of a mother screwing James, she thought.
Allie shuddered at the thought of those two in bed together, talk about a pair of bloodless jerks.
Steffy stared at her pathetic loser of a cousin.
Steffy: Well, are you coming or not?
Allie: Sure.
She stood up and picked up her cell phone. Steffy eyed her critically.
Steffy: Take that everywhere you go?
Allie shrugged.
Steffy: This meeting will only be a minute, it's my dad is finally leaving Brooke and she is leaving the company.
Allie: If you say so.
Nasty brat.
Allie: I am expecting a call.
Steffy smirked.
Steffy: Who is he, Allie? Is he hot?
Allie: That's private.
She put the phone and in her purse and walked out, then turned to her cousin.
Allie: Come on.
Steffy followed her, narrowing her eyes. She didn't trust her cousin and wondered who she was on the phone with. Since she had to resent that she and her whiny father were not on their grandmother's favored list, she was probably jealous. Even though they were blood relatives, Allie was a mongrel instead of a thoroughbred, since she had that trashy Darla as a mother.

Forrester Creations, The Conference Room
Stephanie sat at the table, Ridge to her left. She had a tense expression. Ridge checked his watch.
Stephanie: Have you talked to Taylor?
Ridge: I did, earlier.
Stephanie: Well, she really needs to be here.
Ridge: I know, but she's still pretty upset about the press.
Eric entered, followed by Jon.
Stephanie: Oh, look, there's your father.
She walked over to him and made an effort to kiss him, but he pushed her off.
Stephanie: Eric. Honey.
Eric cleared his throat.
Eric: Shall we get started?
Stephanie: I think we should wait for Taylor. After all, this concerns her.
Eric: Excuse me?
Stephanie: Our getting Brooke out of the company and Ridge's life.
Eric frowned.
Eric: Actually, this meeting has nothing to do with Brooke.
Stephanie: Of course it does. Jon, did you bring the annulment papers?
Jon: No.
Stephanie scowled at him.
Stephanie: And why not?
Jon: Brooke is the least of your problems.
Stephanie: How can you say that? She-
Jon: Stole your company, your husband, and your two sons. Yes, we all know.
He cleared his throat.
Jon: As of eleven o'clock this morning, Bill Spencer made a move to reclaim Ridge and Taylor's shares of the company.

Brooke's Mansion, The Study
Brooke sat at her desk, drumming her fingers. She had paid the locksmith and he had given her the keys, and now she had quite a bit of spare time. She looked at the business card Bill had given her.
Do I want a divorce?
She exhaled as she thought of how Ridge discussed her to Bill, that he was only with her for RJ.
She exhaled and shook her head.
I may not divorce him, but he is NOT coming back here, she thought.
She picked up the phone and dialed. There were two rings before someone answered.
Voice: Hello?
Brooke: Hello, I need to speak to Ray Worthington.
Voice: This is he.
She cleared her throat nervously.
Brooke: Hello, this is Brooke Forrester. I believe we met this morning.
Ray: Yep.
Brooke: So you remember me.
Ray chuckled.
Ray: Mrs. Forrester, you're not an easy woman to forget.
She felt her face heat up and chalked it up to being treated marginally better than the way she was treated by Ridge.
Brooke: I was thinking about my marriage.
Ray: Ok.
Brooke: I am not sure if I want a divorce, but at this point, I don't know what to do.
Ray: I see. Do you want to meet?
Brooke: Actually, yes. How much-
Ray: If I meet with you, I won't charge you. We can meet to discuss if you need my services.
Brooke: Ok. How does nine tomorrow sound?
Ray: Sounds good. By the way, you were represented by Connor Davis, weren't you?
Brooke: A while ago.
Ray: If I represent you, I need copies of your divorces and annulments.
Brooke: Ok. Damn.
Ray: What?
Brooke: I just remembered, I am having dinner with Ridge tonight.
Ray: Was this before or after you found out about his screwing the mannequin?
Brooke: After. I was buying time so that I could get the locks changed.
Ray: Ok. So stand him up. After what he pulled earlier, he deserves it.
Brooke: I am feeling mean, and I don't want to waste a decent reservation.
Ray chuckled.
Ray: So? Oh, I get it. Take another guy out to a fancy restaurant and have the scummy husband pay for it.
Brooke: Sorry, I can't ask that of you.
Ray: Why? It's not like I haven't done it before.
Brooke: I feel like I'm using you.
Ray: Why? Because you're buying me dinner?
Brooke: But-
Ray: But nothing. And if the jerk shows up, I'll put his balls in a vise. No pantywaist interrupts MY dinner.

Brooke's Mansion
Brooke bit her lower lip.
Brooke: Ok, let me get back with you. Later.
Ray: Later.
She hung up, then dialed.
Voice: Hello, Cafe Ruise.
Brooke: Hello, Pierre?
Voice: Yes, this is he.
Brooke: This is Brooke Forrester. I'm calling about my husband's reservation.
Pierre: Yes, it's at eight o'clock.
Brooke: Actually, Mr. Forrester won't be joining me. He's going to be working late. So, could you change the name of the reservation to my maiden name?
Pierre: Certainly. And how will you be paying?
Brooke: Oh, just put my bill on his charge card.

OMG! Where to start? Stephanie barging into Brooke's and ASSUMING she and the locksmith were screwing was just so typical Hag! Lippy, though, being distraught over being called out on being a concubine/homewrecker was priceless. She honestly thinks her crap doesn't stink! Well, I got news for her... This entire story is phenominal, but the best part for me is how it ended with Hag thinking the meeting was about ending the Bridge marriage and Tridge getting back together. I loved that little one-liner that Eric sprung on her about Spencer.

FGS, he is at least ten years younger than she is. And the fact that her little boo banged Taylor makes her outrage even more hilarious.
I thought about having Allie file a wrongful death suit against Taylor, but methinks her being labeled the other woman in the press would really piss her off.
As far as Hag goes, wait until she finds out that Widge and Lips cost them part of the company.

The Conference Room
Stephanie blinked.
Surely she hadn't heard Jon correctly.
Stephanie: What? What did you say?
Jon cleared his throat.
Jon: Bill Spencer filed an injunction to reclaim Ridge and Taylor's shares.
Steffy entered, followed by Allie.
Steffy: What? He can't do that. That contract is-
Jon: That contract, young lady, had conditions. Spencer had a form attached stating that, if any of the owners committed fraud, theft, or moral turpitude, then their shares would revert back to him. Did you even bother to read it?
Steffy: I-of course I did.
Jon: Well, not well enough. And he used adultery as a form of moral turpitude.
Steffy: I-don't understand.
Jon: When your father and mother slept together in his office, he was married to Brooke.
Steffy sat down.
Steffy: I-don't believe it.
Jon: Believe it.
Stephanie: That double-crossing bastard. He tricked us.
Jon: Hardly.
Stephanie: We'll contest this.
Jon: On what grounds?
Stephanie: Fraud.
Jon: Do you even want to go there?
Eric covered his mouth.
Jon: Don't worry, Stephanie, your shares and Eric's shares are intact.
Steffy blinked back tears.
How could Bill do this to me, she thought. I thought we had an understanding.
Stephanie stood up in a fury.
Stephanie: So what happens now?
Jon: Well, a judge will probably rule in favor of Spencer, and he will get fifty percent of the company.
Stephanie: What about Ridge and Taylor?
Jon: They get nothing. When Bill gets the shares, he will probably ban both of them.
Allie kept her face blank.
Steffy started to sniffle.
Steffy: This isn't fair. The deal was, my mother, father, and grandparents are all owners.
Jon: And what about Thorne?
Steffy: What about him? It's not like he does anything here, anyway. My father is entitled to run this company. How could Bill do this to me?
Jon shook his head at her stupidity. Did she honestly think a shark like Spencer would let a mere chit get the better of him?
Stephanie: Don't you worry, Honey, your father will get his rightful share. No way will that bastard bar him, after all, he is the head designer.
Ridge: That's right. I am entitled to-
Jon: You may want to watch your step.
Ridge: Excuse me?
Jon: Spencer has shown to have no patience for people who stab their bosses in the back.
Ridge: I have never stabbed that bastard in the back.
Jon: Oh, come on, Ridge. The DARE campaign? Plus you have a history of stabbing bosses in the back.
Ridge: I do not.
Jon: Please, you stabbed Brooke in the back at least twice when she ran this company. And you stabbed her in the back when you slept with Taylor.

The Conference Room
Eric rubbed his head.
Eric: So, what happens?
Jon coughed.
Jon: Well, you and Stephanie own fifty percent, and Bill owns the other percent.
Stephanie: That bastard.
Eric: What do we do?
Jon: My advice? Play nice with Spencer. After all, the three of you want this company to be a success.
Stephanie: This company already IS a success. In spite of Brooke.
Jon: You mean because of Brooke.
Stephanie: That-
Eric: Ok, that's enough. This latest development has nothing to do with Brooke.
He looked at Stephanie pointedly.
Eric: And I will thank you to not start in on her or blame her for a damn thing. Things are rough enough for her right now.
Stephanie: But-
Eric: But nothing. Ridge is out, but this situation could be a lot worse. After all, you and I both own fifty percent.
Steffy: Bill isn't going to get away with this.
Jon: Excuse me?
Steffy: I'm going to go see him.
She picked up her purse and slammed her way out.
Stephanie: So MY son loses his shares?
Jon: Yes.
Stephanie: Can't you do something?
Jon: No.
Stephanie: Can't I rehire him?
Jon: As far as I know, he hasn't been fired. He just has no say in how the company is being run.
Stephanie: Dammit.
Bill's Office
Bill sat at his desk, sipping a cup of coffee. The idiots had probably talked to Jon, so he expected to hear from them any minute now. However, he had more pressing business to attend to, as he wanted Brooke back at the company, so he had called her and summoned her to his office.
As if on cue, the door opened and Brooke peeked in.
Bill: Brooke. Come in.
She smiled faintly and entered, looking sedate in a beige silk dress with a Kelly green jacket.
Brooke: You wanted to see me.
Bill: That I did.
He gestured.
Bill: Please, have a seat.
She sat.
Brooke: I hope this is good, as I have changed twice today.
Bill: As of eleven o'clock, Ridge and Taylor lost their shares in the company.
Brooke: Excuse me?
Bill: I think you heard. I'm contesting ownership of their sales. The deal was, no theft, lying, fraud or moral turpitude.
Brooke: Ok.
Bill: And when I say moral turpitude, I mean no cheating on the spouse. And no screwing someone else's spouse. Which they both did.
Her eyes widened.
Brooke: Are you serious?
Bill: Yes.
Brooke coughed.
Brooke: So Ridge lost his job?
Bill: No, not yet. But I have every intention of barring Taylor. She is disruptive and adds nothing to the company. Plus I don't want a convicted felon associated with MY company.
Brooke: How is Taylor a felon?
Bill: Leaving the scene of an accident, failure to come forward. But enough of those two. How do you feel about creative control of your bedroom line?
Brooke: Come again?
Bill: I am giving you creative control. Or, I should say, I am giving control back to you. That line is the most successful line in this company's history, and it's success is due to you. You decide who models it, who designs it, etcetera.
She covered her mouth.
Brooke: I don't know what to say.
He raised an eyebrow.
Bill: I don't need an answer yet. And as the owner of fifty percent, you tell me if anyone gives you any trouble.
His phone rang.
Bill: Yes, Myrhea?
Myrhea: A Steffy Forrester is here to see you.
Bill: Well, tell her-
Steffy barged in, her face flushed with anger.
Steffy: Bill, how could you? I thought we had something special.
Bill: Excuse me?
Steffy: I thought we had a deal.
He exhaled and stood up.
Bill: Oh, we had a deal, all right. You stole my wife's ring and threatened to lie to her and say we did it. Then you strong-armed me into selling the company for Eric, Ridge, and their wives to run. Only you got cute and switched the documents putting Mommy and granny in charge. Well, guess what, Toots? I put in a form of my own. Not MY fault the members of your inner circle don't know how to read.
She glared at him.
Steffy: You tricked me.
Brooke coughed.
Brooke: Doesn't feel good, does it?
Steffy: Brooke? What the hell are you doing here?
Brooke: Nice greeting. Not that it's your business, but we were discussing my sister.
Steffy: Trouble in paradise?
Bill: My wife and I are solid.
Steffy: Really. A Logan's marriage being solid? That would be a first.
Brooke stood up. How dare this little witch make her ugly comments.
Brooke: Mind if you clarify that little dig?
Steffy sighed, a loud, out-upon sigh.
Steffy: Do I really need to?
Brooke: Please do. You see, I'm from the valley and we aren't very bright.
Steffy: You Logans are notorious for your sexuality and flaunting it. Not that it's a bad thing, but when it comes to having what it takes to make a marriage work-
Brooke slapped her and she fell back.
Brooke: You certainly didn't have a problem with my family when you were sleeping with my son. Nor did your mother, for that matter.

I can visualise that slap and it was a lovely sight. Thanks, Helliewellie. I was worried about it being a bit over the top, but Steffy has been a rude, disrespectful brat to Brooke for months. My head is still reeling from her claim that Brooke got her position in the company "By seducing my father and my grandfather."

Bill's Office
Steffy held her face. How DARE this bimbo raise her hand to her.
Steffy: You-bitch.
Brooke: Get lost, little girl. Bill and I were discussing adult business and you interrupted. Go back to the kiddie pool until you can learn to knock on a door before entering a room like an adult would do.
Steffy snarled and lunged for Brooke, only to have the older woman grab her arm and twist it behind her back.
Steffy: Let me go.
Brooke: Bill, you have security, don't you?
Bill watched her in amusement. Boy, she had a pair he didn't know about.
Steffy: My father and grandmother will hear about this.
Brooke: Good, at least he can take time off from screwing your high-maintenance, hypocritical tramp of a mother to give me a second thought.

Bill's Office
Bill coughed.
Bill: Brooke.
Brooke: What?
Bill: Let the trust fund trollop go.
Brooke: Why? So she can attack me?
Bill reached for Steffy and grabbed her foream, Brooke released her and backed off.
Bill: I am giving you three seconds to leave my office. I'll let you go, but if you lunge for your stepmother again, I'll have you dragged out of here in handcuffs and brought up on assault charges.
Steffy wrenched herself free, then glared at both of them.
Steffy: Neither of you have seen the last of me.
She stomped off.

Insomnia Ten Minutes Later
Steffy flounced in, a vision of a woman scorned. Her cheeks were flushed with anger and her hair was messy. Without thinking, she slammed a hundred dollar bill on the counter.
Steffy: Yeah, I want a lo-fat latte. And make it a large.
The cashier rang her order up, then looked at the bill.
Cashier: I'm sorry, I don't have change for this.
Steffy scowled, then narrowed her eyes.
Steffy: What do you mean, you don't have change?
Cashier: My boss just did a drawer pull and he left me with only two twenties.
Steffy: Like I give a damn. Let me speak to the owner. Tell him Stephanie Forrester's granddaughter is here and not only will you get me my change, but I will have you fired.
Bitch, the girl thought.
Amber sat off in the corner, sipping her macchiato and playing with Deacon. She smiled at her son, as he had her lips and his daddy's black hair. As if on instinct, she looked up to see a hard-looking young woman in a trench coat. Amber frowned.
What is she, a character in a James Chandler novel?
