Forrester Creations Lobby The Next Day, Nine A.M.
Ridge strutted through the lobby as if he owned the building. After leaving Taylor's, he had returned to his mother's mansion and slept fitfully. He called Jonathon when he woke up and demanded that he draw up forms barring Brooke from the building, but Jon had told him that that would not be possible. He reminded Ridge that Brooke had fired him and he had received an injunction barring Ridge from the building.
He recalled the conversation:
Ridge: What the hell does that mean?
Jon: That means if you so much as set foot in the lobby, you will be trespassing and that security would be within their rights to remove you by force, if necessary.
Ridge scoffed.
Ridge: Yeah, right. It's MY company, she's just some girl from the valley who got lucky.
Jon: Like it or not, she is the CEO.
Ridge: She was stepping down. She was going to sign those forms.
Jon: Actually, I got a letter from Connor Davis, which included a memo from her, and her words were, and I quote, "No way am I signing these papers. You tell your client where to put them."
Ridge: Yeah, well, I'm going to work.
Jon: Oh, did you get a new job?
Ridge: Are you senile? I still work at Forresters.
Jon: Not since yesterday.
Ridge: You want to roll over and let a woman walk all over you, fine. But I'm going to work. What's she going to do, arrest me?
Jon: If you go to Forrester, yes.
Ridge: Well, you can shove your negativity, Jonathon. When I call you later, I expect forms barring her from the building.
He sauntered past the security guard, who stared at him.
Guard: Mr. Forrester?
Ridge looked down his nose at the loser who had handcuffed him yesterday. Didn't this man know the importance of healthy eating? He couldn't have been more than thirty.
The guard stepped out from behind his desk. Ms. Logan had instructed him that under no circumstances was Ridge Forrester to cross the threshold of the building. She had told him to use force if necessary.
Guard: Ms. Logan told me that you have been banned from the building.
He took out a piece of paper.
Guard: This is an injunction barring you from the premises.
Ridge: What is this, some sort of joke?
The guard placed his hand on his gun.
Guard: Please don't make me use this, sir. Just leave.
Ridge grabbed him by the shoulders and shoved him against the wall.
Ridge: I ain't goin' no-where, fat boy.
The guard reached for his gun, and Ridge grabbed it. The two men struggled, and the gun went off, hitting the guard in the leg. He grabbed his leg, gasping. Ridge walked towards the elevator and got on. The guard grabbed his phone and dialed.
Voice: Nine-one-one, what's you emergency?
Guard: I'm suffering from a gunshot wound.
Voice: Where are you?
Guard: Forrester Creations.
Brooke's Office Same Time
Brooke sat at her desk as she watched Giovanni reach for his sketchpad and push his glasses further up his nose. She smiled slightly as he reminded her of a kid on the first day of school.
Giovanni: What, did I do something wrong?
Brooke: No. So these are the sketches for the coed line?
Giovanni: Yes, I did them last night.
He handed her his pad and she looked them over.
Giovanni: I was thinking of a mandarin-style collar.
Brooke: These are really good.
Her phone rang and she picked it up.
Voice: Brooke, it's Megan. Ridge is-
As if on cue, Ridge barged in. Brooke leaned back and sighed.
Brooke: You have five seconds to leave my office before I call for security.
Ridge: Logan, we need to talk.
Brooke: It's Ms. Logan to you, and no, we don't. Call my lawyer.
Giovanni stood up.
Giovanni: Maybe I should leave.
Brooke: No, you don't.
Ridge: What's going on?
Giovanni: Ms. Logan and I were discussing the new line.
Ridge: No need, Junior. All designs go through me.
Brooke stood up.
Brooke: That's it, I'm calling security.
Ridge: Go ahead, but I doubt if he will get very far, with a bullet in his leg.
Brooke: You bastard, what did you do?
Ridge: We scuffled, he drew his gun, and when I tried to take it from him, it went off.
She dialed Megan.
Brooke: Megan, call the police.
Two cops came in.
Cop One: We're looking for Ridge Forrester.
Brooke: He's right there. Is the guard ok?
Cop Two: He's bleeding, but he should be ok.
Brooke exhaled.
Brooke: Thank God. Please, officers, get this man out of my office.
Cop One: Ridge Forrester, you're under arrest.[/sub]

Excellent storytelling, Giovanna! Hopefully, Ridge will get the beatdown he deserves in jail. He's such an arrogant bastard! Like, how is your ass arrested the day before, bonded out, and you return to the scene of the place where you were barred? Like Ridge, I also wish that security guard had better eating habits because he should have mopped that lobby up with that creep! I'm glad that he didn't get far because I was worried he was going to shoot Brooke. I also love how everyone that Ridge has used is now wise to him and won't dance to his tune anymore. No Taylor, no Bridget, no Jonathan, no Eric and most important, no Brooke. I also didn't realize how much of a comedienne Stephanie is! She's so predictable that you can't help but laugh. Her husband tells her he's leaving and she doesn't miss a beat with her Brooke-bashing. Maybe she and her little "boo" can have fun during visiting hours at the jail!

color=Purple]LA County Jail An Hour Later
Ridge sat in his cell, sulking. He had called Jonathon, and he had been told that he would be there after lunch. He should have called his mother, as she would have bailed him out, but he was only allowed one call.
He heard a noise and looked up to see Jasmine. He glared at her, as this was her fault. If she hadn't been so careless by losing her earring, no way would Brooke have found out, and he would have had the forms signed.
Jasmine: Hello, Ridge.
Ridge: What do you want?
Jasmine: Well, I wanted my old job back, but seeing as you can't get it for me, I may as well scratch that off my list.
Ridge leaned back. Selfish woman. Here he was in jail, and she was more concerned with her damn job than him.
Jasmine: I have news for you. I'm pregnant.
He felt his chest tighten up. Dammit, not now, as he had too much going on.
Ridge: And you're claiming it's mine?
Jasmine: Of course. Why do you-
Ridge: How do you know it's mine?
Jasmine: Because you're the only man I've been with, period.
He exhaled.
Ridge: So get rid of it.
Jasmine winced. She knew he was using her, but his request was like a slap in the face.
Jasmine: Afraid not. I'm having the baby.
Ridge: So what do you want from me?
Jasmine: To step up to the plate and be a man. You need to pay child support.
Ridge: I'm already paying support to Taylor. There has to be a way around this.
Jasmine: There is. You marry me, and I don't go to the press. Surely you don't want any more press than you're getting lately.
Ridge: That's blackmail.
Sally walked up, dressed in black.
Sally: Excuse me, but did you just accuse my little girl of blackmail?[/color]

Shawn's Apartment Same Time
Shawn watched the news, then picked up the paper with the headline, Boardroom Brawl, and shook his head. There were more papers, with titles like Boardroom Bloodbath: Forrester Creations Drama and Fallen Fashion Icon. It looked like the killer's latest power grab had blown up, and not only had it blown up, it had blown up publicly and spectacularly. In short, he was involved in a PR nightmare. After this press, Shawn doubted if any design house would let him in the door.
Shawn picked up his picture of Ridge and Bridgette and decided that Ridge needed some more publicity. He picked up the phone and dialed.
Voice: Hello, Eye on Fashion.
Shawn: Hello, I have a picture of Ridge Forrester kissing Bridgette Forrester. Are you interested?
Voice: Certainly.
Shawn hung up. Granted he wanted to see Ridge suffer some more, but he thought about Bridgette, and how she really was an innocent party. He realized that she had been guilty of sleazy, perverse behavior, but Shawn couldn't help but wonder if she had been manipulated by Ridge. After all, he was her mother's "man," and she was probably still mad at her mother for her affair with Deacon. One didn't have to be Freud to know that this was a form of payback. Besides, hurting her might backfire, as she WAS Brooke's daughter, and in his opinion, this woman had been duped by that bastard enough.

The LA County Jail Same Time
Ridge gasped as he stared in horror at the buxom redhead.
Sally: Hello, Ridge. Fancy meeting you here.
Man, I am in the middle of a nightmare, he thought. Not only was he surrounded by fat, ugly men with tattoos, but he had literally been sleeping with the enemy.
Sally Spectra's daughter.
Ridge: Sally.
Sally: Oh, you can call me "Mom," dear. After all, you will be marrying my daughter.
Ridge: The hell I will, I'm marrying Brooke.
Sally: The same Brooke who fired you in front of the world?
Ridge: This setback is only temporary. She always takes me back.
Sally: Well, you certainly are optimistic.
Ridge: Not optimistic, just honest.
Jasmine: I really don't want to discuss my wedding plans here, I would prefer some privacy.
She handed him a card.
Jasmine: When you get sprung, call me on my cell. Come on, Mother, we need to leave. Good-bye, Darling.
They exited, leaving Ridge a seething mess.

The Forrester Mansion Five O'Clock
Stephanie sat in the study, reading over the latest press, and felt a surge of anger sweep over her. Her baby had been on every front page in the country, and it looked like it was going to get worse. Plus Eric had left, so she had no one to whine to.
Ridge entered, looking like death warmed over. He was not in a good mood, even though Jonathon had bailed him out. If he had known that Jon was going to lecture him, using terms like "Irresponsible," "Stupid," and "Childish," he would have spent another night in jail.
He gritted his teeth as he recalled their conversation.
Jon: What were you thinking?
Ridge: I was going to get my old job back.
Jon: Earth to Ridge, you were fired and banned from the building. I distinctly told you that, how could you be so irresponsible as to go back there? You need to let me handle the legal angles.
Ridge: She is just punishing me for sleeping with Jasmine. When I browbeat her into giving me my old job back, then this injunction will be toast.
Jon: She had you arrested. And she hired a replacement. Are you so stupid to think she's going to change her mind?
Ridge: She might. Brooke is impulsive.
Jon: Well, I got the forms drawn up for your sale of your shares.
Ridge: Screw that. I'm not signing.
Jon: Don't be so childish.
Ridge: Dammit, Jon! I have had a morning from hell. I don't need this. Have you gotten those forms baring her from the building.
Jon: No. Nor am I drawing those forms up. You need to let this go. Your tenure there is over.
Ridge: Ok, well, I guess I'll sell the shares. Anything to stay out of jail. Oh, I also need a restraining order drawn up.
Jon sighed.
Ridge: Sally and Jasmine.
He then told Jon of their meeting. Jon exhaled.
Ridge: Tell me I don't have to marry her.
Jon: I don't see you as having much of a choice.
Stephanie rose.
Stephanie: Hello, Darling.
She hugged him, he hugged her back.
Ridge: You saw the press, I see.
Stephanie: I did. Why don't you go to your old room? I've had Irina make your favorite meal.
Ridge: Mother, we have a problem.

Forrester Creations, Brooke's Office Five-Thirty
Brooke and Giovanni were going over his sketches when she looked at her watch.
Brooke: Damn, it's late. What do you say we call it a day and resume tomorrow after lunch?
Giovanni: Sounds good. How about if I buy you dinner?
Brooke: That sounds-oh, sorry, I need to meet my sister, Donna. We usually have dinner on Tuesdays. Rain-check?
Giovanni: Sure.
Spago's Seven O'Clock
Donna sat at her favorite booth and looked at her watch. Brooke should be here shortly, and she was dying to hear what had happened at the meeting. She narrowed her eyes at the news that Ridge attacked her sister. Who did he think he was, anyway?

A Modest Apartment Seven P.M.
Clarke Garrison watched the news. He had to smirk at Ridge Forrester leaving FC. His family owns the company and he still manages to get his ass fired! Loser.
He took out his picture of Ridge and Bridgette. He was surprised THAT image didn't make it on the news. That guy who bought it obviously decided not to use it. Well, looked like Ridge was going to be in the news again. He picked up the phone and dialed.
Voice: Hello, Eye on Fashion.
Clarke: Yeah, may I speak to Jarred, please?
Voice: Sure.
Jarred: Hello.
Clarke: Hello, Jarred?
Jarred: This is he.
Clarke: Clarke Garrison here.
Jarred: Yes, Clarke. What can I do for you?
Clarke: Well, it's what I can do for you, my friend. Are you interested in Ridge Forrester?
Jarred: Well, he certainly made the news with his firing.
Clarke: How about a picture of him kissing Bridgette Forrester?
Jarred coughed.
Jarred: Isn't she his sister?
Clarke: Well, they thought so, but his parents are Stephanie Forrester and Massimo Marone.
Jarred: Well, that IS news. And this picture, how much do you want for it?
Clarke: Let's meet.

Spago Same Time
Donna and Brooke had already ordered, and were waiting on their dinner.
Donna: So, you actually went through with it?
Brooke: Yep. And he has to sell me his shares at forty percent of the cost.
Donna laughed.
Donna: I'm proud of you. He tries to trick you and winds up losing all his shares.
Brooke shrugged.
Brooke: A while ago, I would have felt sorry for him, but he screwed with the wrong girl. I would have given him a fair price for the shares until he decided to assault me. Besides, how many times is he going to pull this stunt?
Donna: After today, probably none.
Brooke: I owe you big time for reading that form.
She shuddered.
Brooke: I could not believe that I almost signed that without reading the fine print.
Donna: This guy who gave you the heads-up, VanderCreek.
Brooke: You mean Shawn.
Donna smiled slyly.
Donna: Oh, so it's Shawn now, is it?
Brooke: Cut it out.
Donna: Ok. Is he cute?
Brooke: He's attractive.
Donna: Is he married?
Brooke: I didn't see a ring. Plus I did a background check, and there was no mention of a wife. I have his file if you want to read it. So, what's new with you?
Donna: I have a new client. Other than that, nothing, unlike my sister who makes news for firing an employee.
Brooke laughed.

The only reason he wasn't in jail for attacking Brooke was because Connor managed to use the threat of arrest over his head to get the stocks.
I don't think he had the gun with him, but rest assured, no harm was going to occur to Brooke.

The Forrester Mansion Seven O'Clock
Ridge sat in the leather chair in the study. He had eaten dinner already, and he was alone. Thank God his mother had left, as he was in no mood to deal with her. After he had told her about Jasmine, she had hit the roof. He had seen her pissed plenty of times, but this time, she was angrier than he had ever seen her.
His mind flashed back.
Stephanie: Yes, we DO have a problem, that tramp is firmly entrenched in our company and she shows no sign of leaving. What were you thinking when you agreed to sell your shares?
Ridge: She threatened to call the cops on me. But right now, we have an even bigger problem. You remember that model?
Stephanie: The one Brooke fired? What about her?
Ridge: Well, she's pregnant.
Stephanie: That's hardly a problem. I'll just pay her off.
Ridge: It gets worse, she wants me to marry her or she'll go to the press. Plus she's Sally Spectra's daughter.
Stephanie's eyes widened in horror. She had raised Ridge to look for women of quality and substance, yet he still had this blind spot where trash and riffraff were concerned. Brooke was bad enough, but a Spectra?
Stephanie: Let me get this straight, you slept with a Spectra?
Ridge: I didn't know who she was when I hired her.
Stephanie: I can't believe you. Of all the models you have to pick, you pick a Spectra?
Ridge: As I said, I didn't know.
Stephanie: The stench of fake designer perfume should have tipped you off.
She stood up, in a rage, and threw the papers across the room.
Stephanie: As if I don't have enough problems. How could you be so stupid?
He bristled. How dare she call him stupid. After all, she was the one who was telling him that screwing the models wasn't sexual harassment, it was just enjoying the perks of the job or looking for inspiration.
Stephanie felt a chill run through her. What if the trashy girl had taken some of their designs?
Stephanie: Did you let her see the designs?
Ridge: No, Brooke fired her.
Stephanie: Well, at least her common mother does not know.
Ridge: She knows. The two of them visited me in jail.
Stephanie slammed down her fist. Damn those Spectras, they were like roaches, not even a nuclear fallout could wipe them out.
Stephanie: Well, I'll talk to Sally. She has to know that a marriage between you two is not possible. In the meantime, go to your room.

Sally's High-Rise Seven-Thirty
Sally sat at the dining room table, reading the trades while Adam cleared their dishes away. They had been together for five years, and things were going quite well. Sally had discussed Jasmine's plans with Adam, and he was a bit wary, but then he realized that Jasmine was a smart woman and knew what she was getting herself into. Plus he had to admire his daughter's moxie at securing a designer of Ridge Forrester's caliber, but he didn't want to see her get hurt in the process.
There was a knock on the door. Adam looked at his wife curiously.
Adam: Red? Were you expecting anyone?
Sally: No.
Stephanie barged in.
Sally: Well, hello, your highness.
Stephanie: You social-climbing bitch.
Adam pulled himself up.
Adam: How DARE you barge in here and talk to my wife like that.
Stephanie glared at him.
Stephanie: Pimping your own daughter on my son. Shame on you.
Sally regarded her with an amused glance. Stephanie might look down her nose at her, but she always found pissing the queen off quite amusing.
Sally: I don't know what you're talking about.
Stephanie: My son informs me that your daughter is demanding that he marry her.
Sally: Oh, I guess he told you about the wedding.
Stephanie: There isn't going to be any wedding.
Sally: Why? Because you say so?
Stephanie: Your tramp of a daughter is trying to trap my son.
Sally stood up and glared at her.
Sally: How dare you call my daughter a tramp.
Stephanie: She seduced him, and now she's playing on his decency.
Sally: Your son is fifty-plus, and he has quite the reputation. I seriously doubt if anyone has to seduce him without his consent.
Stephanie counted to ten. Better reason with this woman.
Stephanie: Look, Sally, let's be reasonable. Ridge doesn't love Jasmine. Do you really want that for your daughter, a marriage to a man who is only with her because of the baby?
Sally: Well, it seemed to work for you and Eric. And as for Ridge not loving Jasmine, that doesn't matter. She doesn't love him, either.

Boy, is Ridge a trip! "Go to your room!" And he actually went! And he's actually sulking because his mommy called him stupid? Stephanie sure didn't speak anything but the truth in that regard. How stupid is Ridge? So stupid that he thought "safe sex" with Jasmine meant making sure the door was locked first. The last time I checked, Ridge was a fairly wealthy man and has resources to either get a condo or sleep in a hotel. At least he would have some control over when he goes to bed and eats dinner! What a PAB! He sits at home and sulks and broods while mommy is off to fix his latest zipper problem!

The Forrester Mansion Same Time
Ridge scowled as he read the headlines of the papers. Boy, Logan had screwed him over, and she had done one hell of a job. Before the meeting, he had always been able to count on three things, his reputation in the industry, his shares in the company, and Brooke always taking him back.
Now he was a laughingstock in the press, he had to sell his shares, and Brooke was looking at him like something she would scrape off the bottom of her shoe.
Damn her.
While he was wallowing, he ignored the fact that he had Jasmine waiting in the wings as well as his very hefty bank account. Plus he was going to be a father again. Not too many men of his age had those blessings to consider. Then his eyes narrowed as he noticed another article.
Forrester Heiress Seen Out on the Town with Hotel Tycoon.
The lovely and brainy Felicia Forrester, also known in the press as Feisty Flea because of her avant guard style in a family of Channel-types, was last seen leaving the Hard Rock Cafe with the brooding and handsome owner of Get Sharpe hotels in Vegas, Deacon Sharpe. Is there a wedding in the wings for the first family of fashion? Can the rouge tycoon succeed in taming the rebel of the normally staid Forrester family?
Ridge threw the paper across the room. Dammit, just what this family needed, more press. He wouldn't put it past Deacon to have set this up. That vulture would do anything to get noticed.
As if on cue, Felicia came in, flushed and happy, dressed in black. Deacon Shapre followed her.
Felicia: Damn, can you believe that reporter?
Deacon laughed.
Deacon: Yeah, really. Imagine, asking me if Brooke had taught me about keeping it in the family. As if Brooke and I discuss that crap. The last time we talked, she mentioned my taking Hope to Disneyland.
Ridge glared at the two of them.
Ridge: About time you got home.
Felicia: Oh, hi, Ridge. I didn't know you were here.
Ridge: Where else would I be?
Felicia: Planning the wedding with Brooke.
Ridge: Have you read the news? Brooke fired me.
Felicia: Fired you? How? Did she dump you or just demote you?
Ridge: She fired me and hired a replacement.
Felicia: Was this after you choked her?
Deacon shook his head.
Deacon: Tsk, tsk, attacking your boss.

Spago Nine O'Clock
Giovanni entered with his date, a young woman his former employer had set him up with. Since Brooke had turned his dinner offer down, he didn't see any reason why he should eat alone. Besides, he had wanted to dine at Spago, as he had heard so much about it.
Brooke Logan, his new boss. A woman who made no apologies and had made FC, an elite clothing company, into a household name. A woman who had quite the history with the Forresters. She had been married to all three men, and even though she was no longer the wife of any of them, she still managed to pull in the money for their company. Her doing that took a special kind of loyalty, in his opinion. In this field, most people would stab you in the back to get ahead, and he found her loyalty intriguing. Plus no matter what happened with her former husbands, it looked like she didn't let personal sentiment affect business.
Yes, Giovanni found his new boss intriguing, to say the least. And he would be remiss if he didn't find her gorgeous, with an ingenue-like quality that belied her brains and obvious nerves of steel. A chemist who had the backbone to expose a traitor in front of the world and fire him. Plus she had the self-confidence to model her own lingerie line.
He picked up his menu and gazed at the brunette in front of him.
Brooke picked up her purse and stood up as Donna called for the check. She looked around the restaurant and noticed a tall blond man that looked like Giovanni, the bespectacled designer she had hired. She did a double take and noticed that it was indeed him. Damn, he noticed her. May as well wave, which she did. Then she noticed that he was with a woman. He waved back. She remembered him asking her out earlier, and was puzzled.
Was he married? Who was the woman he was with?
She felt a tinge of regret. Damn, no, it felt more like jealousy.
Donna came back, and noticed her sister's expression.
Donna: Brooke? What is it?

The Forrester Mansion Same Time
Ridge glared at Deacon.
Ridge: You know damn well I choked Brooke, Sharpe. You were there.
Deacon: Oh, yeah, I was. I guess this pretty lady made me forget about business.
He winked as he pinched Felicia's ass. Felicia laughed. Ridge narrowed his eyes.
Ridge: All right, kids, the date's over.
Felicia sighed. She was looking forward to having some private time with Deacon, but that was before she realized Ridge was going to pull his crap.
Felicia: Well, I guess I'll call you tomorrow.
Deacon contemplated telling Ridge that he could kiss what he twists, but decided against it. After all, the dragon lady was probably lurking.
Deacon: Yeah, later.
He waved and left.
Felicia turned to her older brother.
Felicia: What was THAT about?
Ridge: What?
Felicia: You were rude to my guest.
Ridge: He's a bum. And I don't want you seen in public with him. This family can't take any more press.
Felicia: Oh, really? Like the time you fell out of the elevator with a lingerie-clad Brooke while you were married to Taylor?
Ridge glared at her, not liking her tone.
Ridge: That's different. I'm thinking of Bridgette. How do you think she would feel if she saw her sister with her former husband?
Felicia: Yeah, right. By the way, how do you think Thorne felt when you screwed Caroline? Oh, I forgot, that's different.
She turned and started to walk upstairs.
Ridge: Mother won't like it.
Felicia: Like I give a damn. You're not my father, so stay out of my business.
Spago Same Time
Giovanni watched Brooke as she turned to the tall, blond woman. That must be her sister, he thought. In a way, he was glad she was not turning him down for a man.
Donna: Brooke? What's wrong?
Brooke: I-nothing. I guess it's been a big day.
She dropped her purse and as she went to pick it up, knocked over a glass of water. She blushed as she saw him laugh out of the corner of her eye
Damn, she had only known this guy for less than a week, and he was getting her flustered.

Spago Parking Lot Same Time
Donna walked Brooke to her Jag.
Donna: So, Brooke?
Brooke: What?
Donna: What happened?
Brooke: I told you, I've been busy.
Donna: Yeah, you did. But I don't believe you.
Brooke exhaled. What the hell, she thought. So she had seen a good-looking guy. If there was anyone who would understand, it would be Donna.
Brooke: That guy I hired.
Donna: The designer.
Brooke: He was there, with a girl.
Donna: Ok. So?
Brooke: He asked me out.
Donna: And?
Brooke: I said no, as you and I usually have dinner on Tuesday.
Donna: So you turned him down.
Brooke: No, I said I'd take a rain-check.
Donna: Ok. Well, that's that.
