I can see I have some catch up reading to do! I am intrigued! nice writing!! TY!! Thanks! I am glad you like it. Especially since enjoying your fic was one of the motivations for me to pick it back up. The chapters are pretty short, so it shouldn't take long to catch up. If you have any questions as you catch up, I'd be happy to answer em for you.

Wow!!! I just started reading yours, I'm only on Chapter 4 though, and I'm already loving it! I can't wait until I'm caught up! I'm glad you like it! Chapter 4 Let's see. You've got a ways to go before you get to the "incident". Chapter 30 is where the proverbial crap hits the fan. There's some fun and hopefully some interesting stuff along the way before there. I think the teens are really fun chapters. I hope you continue to enjoy it. As I'm sure you can tell, I started it quite some time ago so the timeline is quite a bit dated.

Thank you! I actually mused about how I should get busy writing a new chapter tonight when I turned the computer on. It's nice to know that others are enjoying the story. It gives me that needed extra incentive to actually write something! With the nice long weekend, I think I will try writing a bit and see if I can't get something new posted. Thanks for your comments, the sarcastic banter between charecters does kind of continue with others. I think you may enjoy it. And Ridge is far from whitewashed in my story, his nastiness hangs out for all to see!

Just a question..is the El Dorado place supposed to be where Brooke is living now? Wow! You certainly caught up fast! Brooke went up there to hide out from the Forresters & Marones and figure out what she is going to do. So until she decides otherwise yes she's living there.

Yes, you certainly do feel for Jackie in this. Because it's not like she ever set out and planned to do anything, it just happened. And then she was too afraid to do anything about it. I think a lot of why Nick is so angry with her is because they have been so close. He's more hurt over the lie than he is over what actually happened. Because who can really blame Jackie for what happened? I think once he begins to understand that.. and sees some parralels (think Brooke and Hope) then he will start to soften towards his mother.

Ah well that's typical Steph in my book. She's always firmly convinced nothing is ever her lil babies fault. If she can blame it on Brooke she will every single time. Ridge is definately an evil scumbag in this story. Not only with what we know that he's recently done to Brooke, but he set some other evil in motion in the begining that eventually we'll get back to.
Chapter 43 is posted. Enjoy!

I've read up to chapter 37.... crap hitting the fan, that's a understatement An excellent read, I can't wait to finish. Well... perhaps I should have described it as more of the big bang! That might have been more accurate. I just didn't want to give it away because I thought it really was better as a "holy crap!" I didn't quite see that coming moment. Hopefully not quite "Bell-ish" in the shock and awe department but more of a slow build to the storm that awaits. Something I am curious about with you and futurebnbstar... What are your thoughts on Karen? Are you interested to hear more about her or is she more of a fluffy I don't really care to get into her back story charecter?

I'm going to sign up over there so I can comment on your chapters. In the mean time, I love Karen. I thought its great to rekindle a high school friendship for Brooke. My impression is that there's more to her than meets the eye, and she's passionate and impulsive like Brooke. I like the dark contrast, afterall brunettes can have fun too.

I think unless the feature has been disabled very recently you can also comment as a guest at the board too, not that I want to discourage you from becoming a member, because it's a great board with lots of fabulous stories! But I think you can also comment as a guest on any and all stories. Just to give you the FYI. Thanks for giving me your thoughts on Karen. I have some readers that very much dislike her, and your assessment on her is more like I want her to come off. She's very much passionate and impulsive (maybe a littte too impulsive at times for her own good) and I thought something that was sorely missing from B&B was a good friend of Brooke's that knew her and understood her, vs. bringing one in I thought a reconnected one from the past would be a bit more interesting. (the closest B&B ever had to that was Megan and they then destroyed her as Brooke's friend and confident.) There is more to her that will (hopefulluy according to the long ago laid plans) come later on after the major drama has solidified itself a bit more.

Well, I for one am interested in what else Karen has going on. I'm current in your story now, and I've registered. When I get the chance, I'll pop over there and add more detailed comments.
