At Marone:
Bridgette taps gently on the door and walks into Massimo's office.
B: Hi Mass, is Nick here by any chance.
Massimo smiles and walks over to show Bridgette into a chair.
M: No, I haven't seen him this morning.
B: (Bridgette gives a half smile) That's odd. he was gone when I woke up this morning and we were planning on coming over together to talk to you.
M: He probably just had some errands to run. Did the two of you decide on the wedding?
B: That's what we wanted to talk to you about. We want to go ahead with the wedding on the Yacht, but wanted a shortened guest list.
Massimo looks bothered by something.
M: I see.
B: Nick and I feel that things may go a little smoother if we say our vows before the ship's Captain, God and the sea.
M: No family?
B: We would like to have a big reception after we return from our honeymoon, if that's okay with you.
M: Under the circumstances I think that would be a great idea. And the sooner the better.
Bridgette looks concerned.
Back at Marone Mansion:
Oscar comes down to breakfast with his bags packed. Jackie is there.
J: Looks like you plan on leaving?
O: You've got it. I'll send you a bill for my plane tickets.
J: I think you should see these first.
Jackie pulls out a stack of newspapers.
O: I talked to Massimo last night. He told me what you are trying to do. And I don't want to be a part of it.
J: Massimo hasn't seen these yet.
Jackie opens the paper to the same photos we saw before.
O: This has nothing to do with me.
J: But it has everything to do with Bridgette. If I know my son, he's over at Brooke's right now protecting her.
O: I still don't see how that has anything...
J: Oh Oscar, the wheels are in motion. It's only a matter of time before Brooke and Nick give in to their feelings for one another. And where does that leave Bridgette?
At Marone:
B: Massimo, I know that look. I've seen it on Nick's face too many times. There's something bothering you.
Massimo sighs and paces by the window.
M: Yes there is one little matter, but that should be taken care of by now.
B: Tell me Massimo, what is it?
M: Oscar. He's back.
Bridgette looks flustered.
At the BRidge Mansion:
Brooke has closed the doors and Nick is hanging up the phone.
N: There will be some Security Guards here in the next half-hour. Are you sure you don't want to come out to the Shady Marlin with Bridgette and me?
B: No, I think it would be a little close-quarters with you two and me and the kids.
Nick suddenly brightens.
N: I have an idea. Go up and get dressed. I'll have Kathryn get the kids ready.
B: Brooke, inquisitive: What do you have in mind?
N: It's a surprise, but I guarantee you won't have to worry about reporters or Stephanie and Taylor for the rest of the day.
Brooke looks like she's about to protest, but Nick puts his fingers to her lips.
N: I'm not taking No for an answer.
they are looking intensely at each other as we fade out.
