Just wanted an opinion of this. I have an idea for a story I want to write. Want to see what you think. Here goes:
Donna Logan frowned as she studied the gown being held in front of her by the very nervous designer. "No No No!" She exclaimed. "That's not what I asked for!" Ripping the gown away from Pierre she then threw it down on the carpet. "You expect me to get married in THAT!" "This gown is my best work." Pierre said meekly. "I spent days..." "I don't care!' fumed Donna. "It's unacceptable! Get out! Get out!" She yelled pointing her finger towards the door. Pierre quickly picked up the discarded gown and hurried out of the office. Donna stood in middle of the floor and sighed. The door to the office opened and in walked her sister Brooke. "I take it things didn't go well with Pierre." She said. "He sure made a beeline for that elevator." "Well you should have seen the gown he brought me. It was hideous. I couldn't possibly get married in that....that awful...creation. I'm marrying Nick Marone. One of the most powerful men in the country. I want everything to be perfect." Brooke smiled. "I know." "I never thought I would catch the eye of someone like Nick. Me. Donna Logan. Marrying a handsome successful intelligent man like Nick Marone." "Not to mention rich." said a voice from the doorway. Donna turned and saw her other sister Katie standing there. "I still can't believe you are marrying him." said Katie walking in. "Don't start with me Katie." said Donna sitting down on the edge of the desk. "I'm not starting. I'm just not sure about this." "What are you talking about?" asked Donna crossing her arms. "I'm talking about YOU. I'm not so sure this is love." "You don't think Nick loves me?" "I didn't say that.." "You implied it." snapped Donna. "He loves me very much." "And you are in love with his bank account." muttered Katie. It took all Donna had not to smack her sister for that remark. "You are just jealous. Jealous that I'm marrying Nick. Jealous that I landed him and you didn't." "Okay Okay." said Brooke stepping in. "Donna I know how much you want this. How much you want to marry Nick. I know you love him and he makes you happy. That's what matters." She turned to Katie. "I know you are concerned but this is what Donna wants. Nick makes her happy and that's all that counts." "But..." "No buts." Brooke said firmly. "You should be happy for her. She found someone special. Don't you want her to be happy like you are with Thorne?" "Of course I do." "Then support her. Be happy for her." Katie didn't say anything. There was some truth to what Donna said before. She was a little jealous. It's not that she didn't love Thorne but lately..she second guessed herself. They've been married for a little over a year and they were starting to grow apart. She didn't mention that to her sisters. Seeing Donna so happy with Nick. Someone she also thought was very charming.....someone who's eye she wished she had caught....she couldn't help but feel that way. "Okay." She said finally. "I suppose I could do that." "Good." smiled Brooke. "That's what I want to hear." She turned back to Donna. "Are you sure you don't want to reconsider Ridge designing your gown?" Donna shook her head. "I appreciate the offer but I have another designer lined up. Her name is Isabella Digorgio." Brooke nodded. "Yes I've heard of her. She's amazing. I'm sure you'll love what she comes up." "I hope so. I know I'm being picky but...I just want the perfect gown." "Yes you do. And you should be picky. It's your day. Everything should be just the way you want it." Katie rolled her eyes. Typical Brooke. Always coddling their younger sister. "I have to go.."She said turning and walking out of the office. Donna frowned. "What's with her? Why can't she be happy for me?" "I'm sure she is." assured Brooke. "Well it doesn't matter. She's not going to spoil this. I'm going to be Mrs. Nick Marone!" Donna smiled looking at the enormous diamond on her hand. It was almost like a dream.

It had been a long day for Donna. Wedding planning...fitting for her gown...her gorgeous white gown designed by world class designer Isabella Digorgio. When Donna saw the finished gown...tears came to her eyes. It was precisely what she had envisioned. White satin, low cut sweetheart neckline...a tiny rose placed at the hip. Silvery blue sash across the bottom. The veil was just a amazing as the gown...flowing like a cloud with tiny embedded diamonds. She couldn't wait to wear it. It was hard to believe in just two short months...she would be Nick's wife. Mrs. Nick Marone. Mrs. Dominic Marone. Donna Marone. She liked the way that sounded. She sighed happily as she lounged by the sparkling water of the enormous Olympic size swimming pool in her sexy blue bikini. The warm sunning tanning her back. Smiling, Donna laid her head back down on her lounge chair when she heard footsteps. She looked up and saw a man walking towards her. He was wearing jeans and a blue denim work shirt. His steps were loud as his boots clumped on the cement pavement of the pool area. . His brown hair was combed back and blew slightly in the breeze. The man approached her and she looked up. Annoyed, she dipped her sunglasses down. "Can I help you?" "I'm here to work on the new pool house." "I see." said Donna unimpressed. "I suggest you get to it then." She lifted her sunglasses back up and laid her head back down. Okaay...thought the worker rolling his eyes. He studied the woman laying on the chair in front of him. Beautiful, blonde and a real bitch. His eyes looked over her body. Of course not an ounce of fat. Her thighs were perfect. As was her round bottom which was showed off by her skimpy bikini. Probably a pampered princess who's every wish was granted by her rich meal ticket. Never worked an honest hard day in her life. Nails perfectly manicured. Toenails...pedicure. Probably even had a personal masseuse even though she didn't need one. Donna looked up. "Excuse me...you are blocking my sun." She said with irritation. Well excuse me....He thought . Didn't mean to inconvenience the queen. "Don't you have work to get to?" "Yes ma'm." He replied. "Good. Then get to it. And try not to make a lot of noise." "Sure I'll just put a muffler on my tools." remarked Hector under his breath. "What did you say?" "Nothing.." "I don't appreciate your attitude." frowned Donna. "MY attitude?" laughed the worker. How about YOURS lady. He thought. Shaking his head...he walked away from her and over to where the construction of the pool house was taking place. Donna watched him walk away. What a creep. She thought to herself. She didn't like the way he had been looking at her. She was sure going to make sure Nick knew about it. He would teach him. She was to be treated with respect. After all she WAS going to be Nick's wife. Everyone was going to learn that. Especially Stephanie Forrester. She knew how Stephanie felt about her family and how had treated them over the years. Especially her sister Brooke. Always trying to make her family feel second rate. Well no more. That was changing. Marrying Nick was changing that. Now SHE was going to be a pillar of the community. If anyone tried to hurt her family..Nick would take care of them. No one would ever bad mouth the Logans again. Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud buzz of the drill. Fuming she stood up and stormed over to the pool house. "Hey!" She exclaimed. He continued drilling not hearing hear. "Hey!" She yelled again. "HEY!" He was startled and looked up. He shut the drill off and took off his goggles. "Yes?" He asked annoyed. "Didn't I tell you not to make any noise?" "I can't help it lady. I can't make the drill quiet. You are just going to have to learn to deal with it." He put his goggles back on and went back to his drilling. Steamed, Donna went over and yanked the drill cord out. "Hey! What the hell do you think you are doing!" the worker yelled annoyed. "I want quiet!" snapped Donna. "Find something else to do that doesn't cause noise." "Sorry lady but that's not happening. Now if you'll excuse me..."He plugged the drill back in and went back to his work. Donna yanked the cord again. "Hey! You do that once more.." roared the worker throwing down the drill. "I said I want quiet." "Well we don't always get what we want Princess." Donna glared at him hating everything about him. "My fiancee will be home soon. I wouldn't speak to me like that if I were you." "You know what lady? I don't give a crap what you tell him or how much wealth he has or about whatever power he holds. I was hired to do a job and I'm doing it. YOU are getting in the way. Now get out of here so I can do my job!" Donna fumed and stalked off. The nerve of that man. Talking to her that way. Oh was Nick going to hear about this. As she neared the house she noticed that Nick's silver Mercedes was sitting in the drive. Smiling she went inside the house. She saw the housekeeper Rosa dusting one of the tables. "Rosa...is Mr. Marone home?" "Yes Ms. Logan. He adjourned upstairs to the master bedroom." "Thank you." Donna walked up the winding staircase of the huge mansion she had come to love. There was a huge portrait of her hanging at the bottom of the staircase. Nick insisted on it. Running up the staircase she came to the long hallway and she hurried down to the bedroom. Opening the door...she stepped inside and smiled as she spotted Nick standing taking off his tie. Sauntering over to him...she wrapped her arms around him from behind. "Hello there darling." She greeted. "Hello." He smiled. "How was your day?" "Hectic." answered Donna as she unbuttoned his shirt and slid her hands inside and glided them along his chest. She slid his shirt off and threw it to the floor. "Wedding plans going okay?" asked Nick as Donna kissed his bare shoulder. "They are going great. Julie is a godsend. Where did you find her?" "Only the best for my woman." answered Nick with a grin. His gray slacks were unzipped and Donna cupped him with her hand. He sighed loving what she was doing. "I want that..."She whispered in his ear. "Now..." He turned around to face her. He took her in with his eyes. Loved the way that bikini fit her gorgeous body. He pulled her close and placed a deep kiss on her pouty lips. Donna untied the top of her bikini and threw it to the floor. "Make love to me..." She said huskily. He lifted her up and placed her down on the bed. He removed the remaining part of her bikini and groaned as he looked at her in all her naked splendor. "Yes...Oh god yes..."He quickly removed his gray slacks and climbed into the bed beside her. Donna gazed at him with passion filled in her eyes. His lips pressed against hers and they were soon locked in each other's arms engaged in passionate intense lovemaking. "God yes Nick..." Donna cried as Nick filled her hot willing body. "Oh yes...yes.." She clung to him tightly as he moved inside her. "Nick!" She cried out and he rolled over to his side of the bed. Donna laid back still tingling from his amazing lovemaking. She snuggled close to him and he wrapped his arm around her. To hell with that stupid construction guy or carpenter or whatever he was...what he thought of her didn't matter. All that mattered is what Nick thought. Nick loved her. "So..." asked Donna resting her head on Nick's chest. "How was YOUR day?" "It just got a whole lot better..."He replied kissing her temple. "I love coming home to you." "I love being here when you come home." She said placing a kiss in his chest. "I love you." "I love you too. You are amazing and beautiful and I can't wait until you are my wife." "Me either. That'll teach that stupid...." "Stupid what?" "Oh that guy you hired to work on the pool house. He was a real ass to me." "I see. You want me to talk to him?" "No forget it. I don't care what he thinks. I just ask that he not stare at me." "Well darling how could any man not want to admire YOU." Donna giggled as Nick moved back on top of her and their passion was ignited again. All thoughts of the worker left Donna's mind.
Stephanie frowned as she looked at her silver watch. She spent weeks setting up this dinner and as usual...Donna and Nick were late. It was bad enough they were family now due to the fact that Katie had married Thorne and Donna was her sister...did she not have any sense of time? The rest of the family in the living room talking amongst themselves. Where the hell were they! Stephanie fumed to herself. Dinner was about to be served. Well that's it...if they aren't here in five minutes...She stalked over to where Brooke was standing with Ridge. "Where is your sister? She was supposed to be here with Nick twenty minutes ago!" "Relax Stephanie..they'll be here." replied Brooke ignoring Stephanie's tone. "I spent all this time planning this...the family isn't able to get together that often..." "I know I know." said Brooke. "Just relax. They're probably on their way right now."
"Nick...oh yes.." Donna groaned as her head was laying on the soft blue pillow while her fiancee's head had disappeared between her thighs. "Oh God...." Her cries of pleasure only seemed to encourage Nick more and cause him to stroke her harder and harder with his tongue. Donna's hands clutched her pillow tightly as her orgasm was starting to come on. She cried out in ecstasy and her body went limp on the bed. Smiling she laid back feeling satisfied and content. Sure they were supposed to be at the family dinner at least twenty or so minutes ago but it wasn't entirely her fault. She had just purchased a stunning new blue dress that was low cut in the front and back. She had come down the stairs to where Nick had been waiting. He took one look at her and she found herself being carried upstairs to their bedroom where her new dress disappeared off her body to the floor. As Nick kissed her shoulder his eye went to the clock on the nightstand. "Darling I think we need to get going. We were supposed to be at dinner about 20 minutes ago." He said getting up from the bed. Donna laid back admiring her finance's body. "Who cares?" She said looking at him hungerly. Nick smiled at her as buttoned up his shirt. "Stephanie. That's who." He replied. Donna frowned and got up from the bed. She found her dress and pulled it back on. "Who cares about her? She hates me and my family. You know that." "Don't you worry about her." said Nick putting on his tie. "You are going to be my wife. She'll learn to treat you with respect. And your family." Donna smiled. He was right. Stephanie was going to learn alright. She wasn't going to torture her and her family any longer. She wouldn't dare try anything. The Marone family was very powerful. Stephanie was on very thin ice. She couldn't risk causing any scandal or saying anything bad. The Marones would eat her alive. Of course that was not the only reason she had wanted Nick. She truly loved him. It was like a fairy tale when she met him.... Forrester was having their annual charity banquet. Donna had been standing outside the banquet hall with her older sister Brooke. She was telling Brooke how much she enjoyed her single life. Brooke asked if she ever thought about getting married. "Marriage?" Donna laughed. "That's not for me. You and Katie....yeah. Not me. No I love my life." "I don't know Donna. The right man can come along at any time..." "Please." Donna said rolling her eyes. "Maybe that happened with you and Ridge like a million years ago but that's not happening to me. You see..." She had stopped in mid-sentence when she saw a handsome blonde man walk out to the terrace. He was immaculately dressed in a black jacket, starched white shirt and black tie. Her breath caught in her throat as she was totally mesmorized by him. "Who's that?" She asked. "That is Nick Marone. Of Marone Industries." "Not bad." said Donna looking him over. "Excuse me..." She sauntered over to where Nick was standing. "Hello." She greeted. "I'm Donna Logan." "Nick Marone." He said kissing her hand. An electric jolt went through Donna's body as his lips touched her hand. "Nice to meet you." He dropped her hand and walked away. Donna stood back holding her hand still feeling the effects of the kiss placed on it. She tried to find him again but lost him in the crowd. She had no idea where he went or if he was even still there. After an hour she gave up. Oh well. She thought. She was about to leave the banquet when she felt a hand on her arm. "May I have this dance?" a voice said. She turned and saw Nick standing there. "I'd be honored." smiled Donna. He took her hand and expertly twirled her around the dance floor. Shortly after he began courting her. Flowers showed up on a daily basis at Forresters. Dinners at exclusive restaurants that not even the Forresters have been to. Then the trip to Milan. Where they first made love. It was then and there Donna knew he was the one. When he proposed.... "Donna Logan...you are the most beautiful woman I've come across in a long time. You are everything I could want. Fun, exciting, alluring...not to mention having a heart of gold. And the fact that you aren't just impressed by the fancy trips and the private jet. I feel in my heart that you love me. I want to spend my life with you. Sweetheart...will you marry me?" Donna's eye went wide at the enormous diamond ring. She never saw a ring like that in her life. "Yes!" She squealed throwing herself in his arms. "YES!" She could hardly believe it. Neither could Brooke when Donna told her the news. "Uh huh!" laughed Brooke. "What happened to...marriage is not for me? I'm not getting married?" "Okay Okay....you were right." Donna conceded. "But I do love him. I love him so much Brooke. He's everything I want." "I'm happy for you. You know I am. I wish you and Nick the best." Of course her other sister Katie was skeptical. "You sure you aren't just marrying him for his bank account?" Donna rolled her eyes. "I love him Katie. I don't care how much money he has. He's my dream come true." She had called her parents in Paris who were of course thrilled for her. Her brother Storm was surprised but happy for his baby sister. Brooke had thrown her an elegant engagement party. Donna felt like a princess. Like Cinderella. She felt as if she met her Prince Charming.

I have to say that I don't care for your version of Donna. Donna has never been an "uppity snob" like you are portraying her.
I also have to say that I think that your story has moved way too quickly into the physical realm and that it is WAY TOO GRAPHIC. Some things are better left to the imagination, don't you think?

Ummmm why would you stop posting after 2 complaints? That doesnt make any sense. I'm sure your story doesnt offend everyone you know. Some of us are actually enjoying your story, even if we cant stand the characters. And if Bricky fans are so offended, I guess you can post it on the Donna Logan site? Anyways, long and short, dont stop.

Whoa, excellent! I want more!
This Donna is a little different from how she is on the show, but she certainly is entertaining. I can easily see Jennifer Garis doing this part. I do think she loves Nick, even if part of her wants to be in a position to push Hag back. And good eye for details.
It is just like Hag to whine about the timing, as if people plan on when they fall in love.
